We anticipate and meet the information needs of staff in order to support the research strengths of the University. While we subscribe to external information resources for use by our clients, we also gather and promote the research output of our University, enhancing our visibility as a research-intensive institution.
The information world is ever expanding, which means teaching our clients how to find what they need quickly and efficiently is essential. We integrate information skills training throughout the curriculum and provide online and in-person research help for our clients, both students and staff. We find personal consultations are key to achieving research success for our higher degree students and research staff.
The Library brings all members of the University community together—offering comfortable reading spaces, group work facilities and the latest technology—providing an inspirational, beautiful and modern space where clients can relax, collaborate, learn and develop ideas.
